Time. Is it possible to want it to stand still and speed up at the same time? 😩 This one is growing up too fast (starting school next month! 😭), while at the same time, I know the next 5.5 months of pregnancy will seem like a lifetime. Sigh.
And this is not be complaining, trust. I get so much joy from seeing this little boy grow and learn and thrive. I think about the days when he was a tiny little person who couldn’t even hold his own bottle and now he’s wanting to help me cook dinner. They do grow up fast, but I have definitely done my best to cherish every moment that I possibly could.
While we’re on the topic of time, I wanted to tell you all about the new watch I’ve just received from the lovely people over at JORD Watches. Their beautiful watches have been all over Instagram lately so needless to say, I was more than thrilled when they reached out and asked to do a partnership with me.
First, let me say… the packaging?? Absolutely STUNNING! This beautiful wooden box is definitely something I’ll want to keep for years to come. It, in and of itself, is a collectors item.
When I put the watch on (which is custom fitted to your wrist, btw!), I noticed how surprisingly lightweight it is! And because of it’s classic style, it’s easy for me to pair it with just about anything I wear – something I *always* look for in a timepiece.
In this look, I’ve paired my Zebrawood, navy-faced watch with one of my most versatile striped blouses and black pleated skirt (worn as a dress), and it was the perfect accessory.
I’ve partnered with @jordwatches to give one lucky winner a $100 credit on one of their hand-made luxury wood watches! All you have to do is click this link, submit your name & email address to be entered. Just for entering, you’ll get a $25 credit to use once the contest ends! That’s free money towards a gorgeous new watch, y’all. The contest ends at midnight EST on 8/27, so skip on over to their site, and check out the collection of Men’s and Women’s watches, so that you’ll know which one you’ll use your discount code on.
Good luck, peeps!
